Life. Love. & Keepin' On...

Pardon my dust. It's been a minute...
I've been symptomatic.. sure 'nuff, Life showed itself and came around 360.  Things are finally falling into place.  And I'm happy.  I'm not expecting a path of perfection, because there's no such thing... I just want life a little more refined.  Making moves can bring broken hearts & spirits.  And it has.  But lessons in Love hasn't changed me one bit.  Nope, not bitter nor angry.  But refreshed.  And of course, I still got love for the same people.  And Keepin' On...?   I need to keep on.  That's on lock indefinitely!

Where It All Began...
Circa '94/'95, Hip Hop became a part of me... forever. After school special with the homies consisted of uprocks, footwork, and cardboard. KRS-One, De La Soul, The Pharcyde, & Lost Boyz fed me passion for this beautiful culture we call Hip Hop.

And...
I fell deeper in love.

I'd soon find myself writing down lyrics from some of my favorite verses. Knowledge is power, and that power soon became my own poetry.  And love for all music, evolved.   It was then that I knew this art form would be my religion.

The rest...
is history.

Who would have thought '94 defined my here & now.

'Love, Peace & Nappiness' (Lost Boyz)
